Emerald Coast Science Center
Step outside the box and experience science firsthand in an interactive museum including a STEAM Makerspace, over 45 exhibits, over 30 animals, and more! From robotics to chemistry, engineering to light, exhibits bring numerous scientific principles to life. The Science Center is also only the third museum in the entire country to house SMALLab Learning--a groundbreaking exhibit that places guests at the center of the action, essentially playing on a room-sized iPad! In SMALLAB, Movement is tracked by motion capture cameras, allowing you to walk around on a 15-foot by 15-foot playing field to complete activities. Patrons work together to solve puzzles, create stories and character plots, learn about the world, and paint digital masterpieces with this groundbreaking programming.
The Science Center offers fun for all ages, from our new Mini Makers Preschool Lab to our Planetarium Nights the first and third Thursday of the month, there's something for the entire family to enjoy. We also offer a wide variety of workshops and programs for children and adults. For more information on our programs, our amazing animals, and our upcoming schedule of events, visit ecscience.org. Come discover the difference a hands-on encounter with science can make at the Emerald Coast Science Center.
